he Central Bank of Malta is now offering for sale the First Official Maltese Euro Set 2008. This set is targeted for collectors and contains the eight Maltese euro coins in BU quality, together with a commemorative ingot, in a luxury wooden case. This set will cost Lm15.03/€35 including VAT. As announced by the Bank in 2005 when launching the Euro Set Scheme, buyers of the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Maltese decimal sets will be guaranteed the purchase of a Maltese euro set, if the respective token is presented to the Bank by 29 February 2008.
